This year Midforest Vets has invested over £3000 in new anaesthetic monitoring equipment for both our clinics.

Of course the most important monitor is the person responsible for watching the animal during anaesthesia.

Our new state of the art monitors can however, help our team keep an eye on blood pressure, oxygen levels in the blood (pulse oximetry), breathing rate and carbon dioxide levels in the inspired and expired gases (capnography), ECG (heart rate and rhythm) and temperature.

These user-friendly compact monitors with touch-screen technology are a huge advance for our patient safety and will help us detect and correct issues much earlier.
