I can't believe that another month in Nora's life has flown by so quickly. For those of you who have seen her, either at Totton or Lyndhurst, I'm sure you will have noticed how much she has grown since the photos in the last news letter. Seeing her everyday you sometimes don't notice the change, but she no longer fits into her purple coat so I know she is growing rapidly. Because she has grown so much it is sometimes easy to forget just how young she still is and how much more she has to learn about the World. She is teething at the moment and so nothing in my house is safe from her chewing. Luckily I have lots and lots of toys and chews for her, but I have to be careful not to leave her unattended with things in easy reach. She may have plenty of toys, but you can guarantee that if there is one thing in the room that I don't want her to chew, that will be the item she finds most appealing! Her toilet training is going well. We haven't had a mess indoors for 2 weeks now, fingers crossed. Sometimes when she gets all excited or is in a strange place she forgets that she needs a wee and so accidents do occasionally happen, but like I said it is easy to forget just how young she still is. I know that we will get there eventually. The other good news regarding training is that Nora successfully completed her Puppy Foundation Assessment under the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme. She is very pleased with her achievement and has a very happy Dad. I'll have to take a picture of her with her rosette on to show everybody. The puppy class has been really good fun and Nora has made some really good friends. Everybody in the class also passed their exams and so congratulations are also due to the rest of her classmates. We are going to start the next level up in a week's time. This will be tougher, but both of us are looking forward to the challenge. We will let you know how we get on next month, but when you see us out in the Forest practising sit, down and stay you'll know what we're doing it for. That's about it for this month. Thank you to everyone who has come up and said hello when we've been out on our walks. As you've probably seen Nora loves playing with other dogs so the company is always welcome. See you next month, Justyn
