It’s been a quiet month for Nora which is
a good thing considering the drama of last month’s diary entry.
She continues to grow and although she is still very much a puppy in
attitude she is occasionally mistaken as an adult by people who don’t
realise that there is plenty more growing to come. Nora is in what I
would describe as her teenager phase and beginning to try and push her
boundaries and see what she can get away with. We started a new dog
training class recently and she spent the entire first class just ignoring
all my instruction. It was very frustrating, but it is important to
be patient, clam and consistent so that she learns that she has to do
as she is told.
I’m sure she will settle down though and
when she does concentrate, she learns very fast. She really is developing
into a lovely young dog and thank you for all the nice comments. Nora
enjoyed her two weeks at Lyndhurst when Colleen was on holiday and I
know she said hello to lots of people at reception.
If only I could train her to answer the phones!!
