Principal
James R Elliott BVetMed, CertVR MRCVS
James attended
Brockenhurst College before studying at the Royal Veterinary College,
London qualifying in 1984. His first six years were spent in mixed
practice in Salisbury before returning to university for a certificate
in veterinary radiology. He joined the practice in 1992 and became
a partner in 1993. James' particular interest is diagnostic imaging
and he can often be found in the dark room! He is married to Sally
and has three children, a dog, a cat, a tortoise and two rabbits. |
Andy

MRCVS
Andy attended school in the East Riding of Yorkshire before moving
to Edinburgh to study. He qualified in 1993 and started his career
as a vet in Wigton , Cumbria . After six years of mixed practice
Andy moved to Hampshire and has been in companion animal general
practice in the Southampton and Romsey area ever since. He is married
with one daughter and an 85 year old tortoise. His areas of special
clinical interest include feline medicine, dermatology (skin), clinical
pathology (cells and blood!) and veterinary dentistry. Outside of
work Andy enjoys the great outdoors, photography, playing the piano
and growing his own vegetables!

Justyn
has returned to our Totton surgery in August-he said he had to come
back as he missed us all too much! In addition to returning to his
new “old” job, he has embarked on two more life changes.
He and Aurelia got married in May and have just bought a house in
Totton, so hopefully his life will calm down a bit now!

Bev
has worked at our Totton surgery for nearly 12 years. She qualified
as a veterinary nurse in 2001 and is now our head nurse. Her special
interests are obstetrics and paediatrics and preventative healthcare.
She runs the practice's kitten club and bereavement counselling
sessions. Bev lives locally with her husband Mark and two rescue
cats Ivy and Trouble!

Lizzie qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2002. She locumed with
Midforest for 3 years and is now a permanent member of the nursing
team at the Totton surgery. Her interests include running weight
clinics, rabbit care and anaesthesia. She has 4 rescue cats called,
Roger, Bertie, Spooky and Pumpkin

Louise
starting work with Midforest as a Saturday assistant at Totton.
She is at Sparsholt Agricultural College working towards a full
honours degree in veterinary nursing.She loves working with animals
and in particular enjoys the clinical nursing aspect. She has
two dogs, Zebedee and Buffy and enjoys horseriding.

Eva
joined Midforest after returning from Australia where she worked
in a vet practice near Melbourne. She has 3 dogs of her own and
a New Forest Pony, Stella. Her particular veterinary interests are
dentals and nurse clinics.

Jill
works as receptionist at the Lyndhurst surger. She is married with
three children and lives on a smallholding outside Lyndhurst. They
have kept farm livestock and now keep equine and companion animals.
Out of work, her interests are riding, cooking and travelling.

works in reception at Totton. She is married with two grown up children
and two Persian cats, Prudence,a blue cream and Charlie a blue.

works in reception at our Totton surgery. She is married with one
son Adam and has an English Bull Terrier called Nugget who is 4
years old and a cat called Brigham who is 13 this year. She enjoys
dog walking, gardening, riding pillion on her husband's Harley and
being a party animal!

has been the Practice Manager based at Lyndhurst, since December
2000. She is married and her interests include keeping cats, riding
her pony Smokey,running half marathons and travelling.

with Midforest Vets since 1996.She is married and her hobbies include
cycling and keep fit. |

Molly
is our "out of hours" telephone receptionist. She has
been involved in the veterinary profession for 40 years, working
in nursing, management and reception. Molly has wide experience
in equine,farm and companion animals.
