Out
of Hours Consultations
Midforest
vets run it’s own emergency service which means all our vets will
have access to your pet’s clinical history. Clients may be asked
to attend either clinic depending where our duty vet is based, but special
arrangements can be made for the vet to go to either site.
Out of hours fees will be applied and payment is required at time of
treatment.
Home visits can be made in very special circumstances, but it is in
the interest of the pet if the examination can take place at a surgery.
Home visits made out of hours will be subject to a surcharge.
Microchipping
For
a one off payment your pet will be implanted with the microchip carrying
a unique identification number and receives life long membership with
Petlog (The National Microchipping Database).

Dog/Cat
Neutering:
The
price includes a full health check, a pre med injection to reduce stress
and anxiety, a general anaesthetic which is monitored by a qualified
veterinary nurse, the surgical procedure, a pain killing injection,
post operative care for the day of the operation, post operative food,
post operative check up 2 days later and removal of sutures if required.
(not required for cat castrates) Dissolvable stitches are used in some
procedures.

Rabbit Neutering:
